The Greeks Knew The Right Way To Work With Yogurt

Tzaziki Sauce


This classic Greek accompaniment to grilled meats is typically used to top gyros or shishkabob. Amazingly good with lamb, beef, & pork but try chicken and fish as well. Also great with pita bread as an appetizer.
    1 cup Plain Yoplait Greek Yogurt1 teaspoon minced garlic½ cucumber, peeled, seeded, and diced fine1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oilSea Salt and Fresh Ground pepperFresh mint leaves, chopped (Optional)

In a medium glass or ceramic bowl, gently combine yogurt, garlic, cucumber, and olive oil. 
Season with sea salt and fresh pepper to taste. 
Cover and chill for 2 to 3 hours. 
Garnish with mint leaves for a pretty presentation
Makes 4 servings
