Italian Whole Chicken In Slow Cooker/Crockpot

6 Quart Oval Programmable Slow Cooker/Crockpot
1 Large Onion Cut Into Thick Slices
Morton & Bassett Salt Free Italian Seasoning For a Dry Rub

If you can't find this brand, then make your own rub with equal parts dried:
basil, coriander, garlic, oregano, thyme, onion, paprika, parsley, sage and black pepper.
1 TBSP Garlic Granules
1 TBSP Paprika
1 5 Pound Whole Chicken With Insides Removed
8 Whole Garlic Gloves

Spread Onion Slices Evenly Across the Bottom Of Slow Cooker
Cut A Small Slit in Each Leg And Place The Whole Garlic Glove In The Skin
Cut a Slit On Each Side of The Top & Bottom of The Breast Place The Whole Garlic Glove In The Skin
Place The Other 2 Whole Garlic Gloves In The Cavity of The Chicken
Sprinkle Garlic Granules & Paprika Evenly Over Whole Chicken Top & Bottom
Spread Italian Seasoning Evenly Over The Whole Chicken Top & Bottom
Place Whole Chicken Into Slow Cooker On Top of Onion Slices

Cook 8 Hours on Low
There is No Need To Add Any Liquids. Your Chicken Will Be Very Moist.

Baked Whole Wheat Rotini With Kale Gravy & Chicken Italian Sausage

Step 1
Prepare My Kale Gravy Using This Recipe Link Below:

After Kale Gravy Is Done, Remove From Stove & Set Aside

Step II
Cook 16 Ounces of Isernio's Ground Chicken Italian Sausage Or Other Brand & Set Aside

Step III
Prepare a 13 or 14.5 Oz Box of Whole Wheat Rotini With A Pasta Cooker in Microwave or On Stove
Drain Well &; Set Aside

Step IV
Add 1-2 TBSP of Extra Virgin Olive Oil To A Large Deep Casserole Dish
Add Pasta
Sprinkle Frontier Garlic Granules Over Pasta
Add In An Additional 12.5 oz Can of Petite Diced Tomatoes No Salt Added
Add Cooked Sausage
Add Kale Gravy
Optional to Add In Some Stuffed Sliced Garlic Olives
Top With Freshly Shredded Imported Pecorino Romano Cheese
Bake In 400 Oven Just Long To Melt The Cheese


This is the only way to get ground chicken Italian sausage where I live in Illinois.

Ground Chicken Italian Sausage Cornmeal Patty

1 Bowl
1 Skillet or Dutch Oven
1 Splatter Screen
1 TBSP Roasted Garlic Oil
16 Ounces Ground Chicken Italian Sausage
1 TBSP Egg Whites
1 TBSP Onion Powder
1 TBSP Garlic Powder
2 TBSP Cornmeal
1/4 - 1/2 Cup Mince Onion

Mix All Items Together In Bowl And Set Aside
Heat Oil in Skillet Over Medium Heat
Add Meat Mixture And Cook Until Done

You Can Use This As The Base For a Pasta Sauce or Use AS Is Over Pasta & Add Sauce or You Can Use This As Your Meat On A Pizza. This Recipe Can Be Used For Meatballs As IS or Meatloaf With Adjustments In The Amount of Cornmeal. You Could Also Add This To A Soup With Kale or Add To An Okra Dish.

Chicken Italian Sausage Crushed Black Olive Patty

16 Ounces Ground Chicken Italian Sausage
4 Ounces Peas
6-8 Ounces Crushed/Minced Black Olives
Garlic Granules
Fat Free Cooking Spray
1 Casserole Dish

Spray Casserole Dish
Spread Olives on Bottom of Dish
Spread Sausage Over Olives
Sprinkle Peas Around
Sprinkle Garlic Granules Over Everything

Bake 350 Until Internal Temp is 165 Degrees About 35-50 Minutes
Then Use This As a Topping For Piazza Or Add To Sauce To Serve Over Pasta

Potato & Onion Pierogies With Peppers, Spinach, Ground Chicken Italian Sausage & Cheddar Cheese

With The Weather Being Hot One Day & Freezing The Next I AM Still In My Winter One Pot Dish Mode
To Be Honest A One Pot Dish Is Good Anytime of The Year

1 Large Oven Safe Casserole Dish
Fat Free Cooking Spray
1 16 Oz Box of of Mrs T's Frozen Potato & Onion Pierogies
http://www.pierogies.com/retail/products.asp?ProdID=2# Or Other Like Brand
1 Orange Bell Pepper Cubed
1 Red Bell Pepper Cubed
1 14.5 Oz Can No Salt Added Diced Tomatoes
1 Small Bottle Classico Organic Spinach Marina Sauce
1 LB Low Fat Isernios Ground Chicken Italian Sausage Or Like Brand
2 - 3 Slice Soy Cheddar Cheese Slices Torn Up

Spray Casserole Dish
Evenly Spread Out Pierogies On Bottom of Dish
Add in Peppers
Add in Sauce
Add in Ground Chicken Italian Sausage

Bake at 350 For 45-50 Minutes
Tear Up Cheese  Bake Another 4-5 Minutes

Add Cheese & Melt















Stir & Ready To Serve & Eat
