My Mom & Grandmom's Snickerdoodles Recipe Updated For 2010

In 1stBowl Mix the following ingredients:

1 Cup Butter or Vegetable Shortening or Smart Balance

1 ½ Cups Sugar (White) or Splenda for Baking

2 Eggs or Equivalent Egg Whites

In 2ndBowl Mix the following ingredients:

2 ¾ Cups Unbleached White Flour or Bob's Red Mill Brown Rice Flour

2 Teaspoons Cream of Tartar

2 Teaspoons Cinnamon

2 Teaspoons Argo Aluminum Free Baking Soda

Pinch of Kosher Salt

Add Ingredients together in Bowl with most of the Wet Ingredients

Make Balls of One Inch and roll in 2 additional Sugar 

or Splenda and Cinnamon

Place 1 Inch Balls on Ungreased Cookie Sheet

Bake at 400 Degrees for 8-10 Minutes
